How Obama Did It
Using wisely the technology can provide great benefits. The use of social networks was very important in Obama’s Campaign. Even though many of the candidates of that year were using these technologies as well, they did not put as much emphasis as Obama did. However, having the right tools sometimes is not good enough; you have to know how to manage them correctly and focus them to the campaign; that was what Obama did. Trough these tools, Obama’s campaign kept in touch with his followers, letting them follow his posts and spread them to other people. Obama’s messages were straightforward; always containing what step he wanted you to take. He formed sort of a community between him and his supporters that will continue even if he was not elected President.

I agree that technology can provide great benefits with a substantial amount of information being forwarded to us. The other people that were running up against Obama, knew about Obama's website and tried to have their websites just as successful, but unfortunately theirs weren't as effective. Definitely, the community that Obama built between him and his supporters were really important and were key to him winning the elections.
ReplyDeleteIn this election The first black president won, in which media specially internet played a vital role in campaigning for Obama, i watched many videos and researched that result of this campaign and spending bigger part of many by supporters won this election.I would further add that the correct use of technology was used, which kept Obama's campaign with his supporters, and he formed a different kind of Online campaign that got him up with flying colors.
